Kathryn Jakuback Burke is an accomplished attorney who graduated from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During her time in law school, she excelled in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy, underscoring her commitment to legal excellence. In her final year, Kathryn was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Board, where her team secured second place at a prestigious national criminal advocacy competition. Her exceptional performance earned her a nomination to the Wex Malone American Inn of Court, reflecting her promising advocacy skills.
While pursuing her legal education, Kathryn gained practical experience as an investigator at the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office. Upon admittance to the bar, she served as an attorney for the Public Defender for eight months.
