Adam John Verret is a lawyer. Adam received a D.C.L. degree from LSU Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 2018, and has been licensed for 8 years. Adam practices at The Ambeau Law Firm in Baton Rouge, LA.
Anyone considering hiring Adam Verret at The Ambeau Law Firm needs to be aware of his documented history of ethical failures and unprofessionalism. During my experience, Adam’s behavior was appalling. He was repeatedly reprimanded by the judge for his inability to maintain composure and respect for the court. When the evidence dismantled his claims, he resorted to blatant lies and unprofessional threats, stating multiple times that he would 'handle it out of the courtroom.' Most concerning is his lack of integrity. The Louisiana Supreme Court recently suspended him for engaging in sexual relationships with clients while actively working their cases. This is a gross abuse of power and a violation of the most basic attorney/client trust. It is shocking that after such a brief suspension, he is already back in practice. If you are looking for a lawyer who prioritizes the law and ethical standards over personal impulses and intimidation tactics, look elsewhere.
A friend and I filed complaints against this attorney because he violated attorney-client privilege in both of our legal matters. He is being investigated by the bar for these complaints. He continues to have inappropriate relationships with female clients and wants to hide this from people knowing about it. He tried to get my friend to pay him 6k for legal services fo represent himself. He needs to be disbarred. We are considering suing the firm because his behavior is that outrageous.
