What do you mean by "reassigned?" It is a term not used in the bankruptcy world. Discharge means that the debts are discharged. It does NOT mean that the property has been abandoned by the trustee. That only happens when the trustee files a report and the case is closed. It is possible for a trustee to keep the case open for years in the hope that the property will increase in price. You need to contact your lawyer and find out the status of the case.

Send him a regular U.S. Mail letter telling him what you want and give him a two week deadline. Tell him that if he does not respond you are going to file a bar complaint.

It depends on when you filed the bankruptcy. In that you are asking the question now I am going to assume you filed at the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013. If so, then the trustee will take all of your 2012 tax refunds. This is why most of my clients wait to file until after they receive their refunds.
