Why hasn't my attorney filed the paperwork yet?

Diane L Drain
Answered by attorney Diane L Drain (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Law Office of D. L. Drain, P.A.
I cannot answer why an attorney did not do something, but I can offer this suggestion as to your credit. File a statement (perhaps called a dispute) with the credit reporting agencies. State that you have been paying as agreed from the filing of the bankruptcy.

For breech in contract can I sue my friend in small claims court and what can I recoup?

You have several problems. In small claims court you must sue in the county where she lives, so that is out. You can recover whatever you prove your loss to be. Actual dollar damages. I don't know what that is

How do I go about bank accounts in Chapter 7/13 conversion?

Really? You are worried about $500? Most clients I see move more money than that around on a regular basis. If it was $5,000 out of the blue, the trustee might ask where you spent the money but $500 is no big deal.
