Will they still be included in my discharge?

Diane L Drain
Answered by attorney Diane L Drain (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Law Office of D. L. Drain, P.A.
Possibly not, it depends on whether there are assets for trustee to distribute. Make sure to send copies of the discharge to the creditors and file notices with the Bankruptcy Court. For more information there is a self-help center at the Bankruptcy Court.

Is it still legal for the creditors to call me after filing a chapter 7?

The automatic stay comes into effect upon filing the petition. The creditor should not even call you. Speak with your attorney about this.

How will the mortgage affect the credit score?

Answered by attorney Bernal Peter Ojeda (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Law Office of Bernal P. Ojeda
It will not affect her at all. She is not obligated on the mortgage since its in your name. When you file it's under your social security number so her credit remains untouched.
