How long must I wait to file?

Don't change the title or transfer the property away from your name. This is most likely a situation for chapter 13 instead of chapter 7. If you are behind on your 1st and 2nd you can pay the arrears in a chapter 13 plan.

Is there anywhere or anyway I can file for bankruptcy at little or no cost to me?

You can get a book at the bookstore for bankruptcy, such as those by Nolo, that might help you file yourself. Also, the bankruptcy court will generally let you make installment payments towards the filing fee. If you have any concerns about your bankruptcy, you may want to hire a lawyer to at least review your case.

When you file bankruptcy what happens if I owe money on my home, do I lose my home and how do I go about filing for bankruptcy?

You will not lose your home. However, you will have to continue to make timely payments on it to keep it through the bankruptcy process and after bankruptcy. Sounds as if you need to hire a good bankruptcy atty.
