If they take my daughter’s car which I cosigned for and is already paid, does she get a portion of the money when the car sells?

You will need to actually go see a bankruptcy attorney to get these questions answered fully and so the attorney can ask you questions. It depends upon what the car sells for, and the bankruptcy might remain open for a while so that the lots can be sold.

Talk to your bankruptcy attorney. If you did not have one then you should talk to an attorney in the state where you live. Your state law will dictate if NSF checks have a criminal component.

Can you sell a car that you still owe the lender without title and might be up to repossession?

Nothing would stop you from selling the vehicle, but the purchaser would not be able to get the title until the loan was paid. Under those circumstances, the purchaser might not want to proceed, or might want to pay off the loan before handing over any money to you.
