How can I keep my car from repossession?

Answered by attorney Edward M Olson (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Olson Law Firm
The only guaranteed way to stop repossession is to make the payments. If you can't afford the payments you can ask for a new payment plan or try to refinance the loan with another lender. However, these solutions would require the lender's consent. So, they are not guaranteed.

How can I add debt that has incurred after one year into the bankruptcy?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Roger J Bus (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Debt Relief Law Center
No. All you can do is file a Petition to Amend and hope that the creditor voluntarily agrees to file a late filed claim in your Chapter 13 case that the Chapter 13 Trustee does not Object to for being late filed. If the filing of the claim does not effect the amount paid to other creditors, the Trustee may just let it come into the Plan.
