If I am sued over a credit card debt in my name only, can they go after assets in my husband's name only?

It depends on the state where you live. In Arizona that answer is "maybe". There are a lot of other questions that need to be answered before your original question can be addressed.

How will the mortgage affect the credit score?

Answered by attorney Edward M Olson (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Olson Law Firm
The mortgage is attached to the land. So, filing bankruptcy does not affect the mortgage. If the mortgage payments are not made, the lender will likely foreclose. However, none of that will affect her credit score. If she is not on the mortgage, she never promised to pay.

My husband and I filed for divorce in 2011 but stopped it and we are currently in foreclosure with our house what we do?

If you don't know where you are going, you will never get there! What do you want to do? Can you afford to resume the mortgage payments? Have you applied for a loan modification? Could you afford to pay to catch up on your mortgage payments if you had 5 years to do so?
