How long do I need to wait before I can do another chapter 13 bankruptcy?

John A Moffa
Answered by attorney John A Moffa (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Moffa & Breuer, PLLC
Each Federal Bankruptcy Court Division in the State of Florida has different rules. Some allow you to refile immediately after your prior case is dismissed. Others make you wait 6 months to re-file your case. If you had received a discharge, you would have to wait much longer before you?d be eligible for another discharge.

Do I have to pay a judgment against me if I had a limit on my card?

Bankruptcy lawyer at Siegel & Siegel, P.C.
The debt merges into the judgment so the short answer is yes. You should vacate the judgment and then deal with it.
