What can I do if car dealership did not keep their promise of paying for the rental car causing me to have overdrawn charges?

Answered by attorney Daniel A. Edelman
Bankruptcy lawyer at Edelman, Combs, Latturner & Goodwin, LLC
The answer depends on analysis of the documents you signed. Did the dealership or you agree with the rental establishment to pay for the rental? If the former, you had no responsibility at all and the debit was improper. If the latter, you owed the rental establishment money, although you had the right to get that money from the dealership. Even if you contracted with the rental establishment, did you authorize the rental establishment to take money from your account?

My bankruptcy case is being dismissed for not completing the pre-petition course how can I stop this from happening?

If you didn't take the course, then you can't stop it from being dismissed. However, you could take the course and then file a new bankruptcy case and pay another court filing fee. Bankruptcy is complex, as you have discovered. I recommend that you hire an attorney the next time, even if you have to wait and save up for it.

How do I deal with Debt Collector Threats?

This sounds like a payday advance operation where you have written checks to repay but they are not being honored. See an attorney.
