Marc Hassan, Esq. is a Workers’ Compensation Attorney at the Pinder Plotkin Legal Team, where he is Of Counsel to the firm. Marc represents injured Maryland workers at the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, and his practice also encompasses automobile accident litigation and personal injury matters for the firm.
Marc joined Pinder Plotkin in March 2023, bringing 15 years of focused workers’ compensation experience and a practice history that, by his own accounting, exceeds 2,000 workers’ compensation cases handled. That volume — almost entirely before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and Maryland’s trial courts — is the kind of concentrated experience Maryland workers need when they are up against employers and insurance carriers with their own dedicated defense counsel.
Marc is a third-generation member of a Baltimore legal family; his father practiced automobile accident and personal injury law, and Marc grew up around the practice. After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College in 1999, Marc earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2010. He began his legal career at his family’s firm and joined Pinder Plotkin in March 2023.
Marc is recognized by his peers as a go-to Maryland workers’ compensation practitioner. Fellow attorneys — including competing workers’ compensation lawyers and out-of-state practitioners — regularly refer Maryland WC cases to him, noting his responsiveness, client communication, and results at the Commission. His client reviews consistently highlight his aggressive advocacy, direct communication style, and willingness to fight for injured workers when employers delay or deny benefits.
Marc is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice and the Maryland State Bar Association.
