Dan's areas of practice include product liability defense, automobile tort, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, antitrust, and corporate litigation. He has participated as both lead counsel and co-counsel in numerous trials, both jury and non-jury, resulting in defendant's verdicts. Dan presently represents Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as National Coordinating Counsel for United States power tool litigation and industrial tool litigation. He is also presently representing GEA Process Engineering, Inc., as National Coordinating Counsel for product liability and personal injury litigation. Dan's antitrust practice has included representation of clients such as Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. and Texaco, Inc. in complex antitrust litigation. Dan's present clients include Black & Decker, Niro Inc., The Travelers, Target Corporation, Bon Secours Hospital - Baltimore, Penske Truck Leasing Corporation, Pentair, Inc., Lear Corporation, and The Salvation Army.
Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Dan served as a law clerk to The Honorable Marvin B. Steinberg (March, 1985 - August 1986).
