About Ricardo Raul Flores

Rick’s practice is focused on defending clients against criminal charges at all levels—felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile.  Prior to joining the firm, Rick worked as a prosecutor with the Travis County Attorney’s Office where he negotiated thousands of criminal cases and was the lead attorney in over 60 trials.  His experience as a prosecutor helps him zealously represent and defend clients throughout Central Texas.   Rick also specializes in expunctions and non-disclosures in order to keep a person's record clean and clear of prior criminal indiscretions. If you have ever been arrested or charged with a crime, contact the office to see if you are eligible to have your record expunged or sealed.   The attorneys of Minton, Burton, Bassett, & Collins, P.C. approach each case with a strong desire to win and total commitment to the interests of our clients. Each case is prepared as if it is going to trial, though we have the experience and expertise to avoid court when it is in the best interest of the client. When we do go to court, you can rest assured that the attorneys defending your rights have years of experience inside county, state and federal courtrooms.   When he’s not in the office or in the courtroom, Rick enjoys watching all Texas sports and playing tennis.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
