Hired Attorney Karen Peters

I was barely a legal adult and found myself facing a felony charge. Due to having almost no money to my name, I had to request a Public Defender. I was facing Class D Felony charges for a crime I was not guilty of without having any prior charges to speak of. Ms. Peters recommended that I plead Guilty to said felony charge, making me a felon for life. Even at my young age, I knew this was the opposite of the right move to make. So, I went against Ms. Peters' wishes to plead guilty and pleaded Not Guilty to said felony charge. This ended up being the best decision I could've made, no thanks to my Public Defender. I'm now 25 years old, not labeled a felon, and working the best job I've ever had, leading a lawful life. In hindsight, I'm glad to report that not listening to Ms. Peters was the best decision I could've made for my future. Proceed with caution.
