Steven Scherzer, a Partner with Cooper Levenson since 1988, concentrates his practice in Probate Law, Condominium Law, and complex Commercial Litigation.
In the area of Condominium Law, Steven has represented clients in matters involving property, vendor, and resident disputes, including one of the largest high-end residential complexes on the East Coast, with more than 700 units. His Commercial Litigation practice encompasses real estate, partnership, and corporate law, where he provides practical solutions to complex business conflicts.
Steven also maintains a robust Probate practice, representing clients in contested probate actions, will contests, and matters involving trustees and estates. With decades of experience, he brings depth, precision, and a client-centered approach to each case.
Community
Steve served as President of the Jewish Federation of Atlantic and Cape May Counties from 2015-2017, as President of Congregation Beth Judah 1999- 2001, as Chairman of the Jewish Community Relations Counsel 1992-1994. Steve is a Trustee of the Harry Katz Foundation (2017 - present). He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Beron JOAS agency (2013 - present). Steven is also a member of the Jewish Federation Foundation (2015 - present).
