About Lissa F. Klein

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Lissa F. Klein is a Partner in Hall Booth Smith’s Atlanta office. Lissa dedicates her practice to representing employers, insurers, and self-insurers in workers’ compensation matters throughout Georgia, including many of Georgia’s largest employers. She has extensive experience representing her clients at all administrative and state appellate levels, including obtaining successful results for clients before the Trial and Appellate Divisions of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation.

While Lissa fights hard for her clients, she maintains a strong reputation as a fair and professional opponent which benefits her clients in securing efficient outcomes. Lissa’s reputation also helps her client secure favorable settlements, many of which involve claims with high probabilities of catastrophic designation. Lissa’s top priority is to work towards securing the best possible outcome for each claim.

As each employer has its own goals and concerns, Lissa also assists her clients in developing and implementing risk management procedures which reduce exposure before on-the-job accidents have a chance to take place. She also frequently presents educational seminars where she advises on the latest developments in workers’ compensation law.

Lissa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in History and received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law.

Outside of work, Lissa enjoys traveling and hiking. She lives in Sandy Springs with her family.
