Sandra “Libba” Kuhlmann is an associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C., and she focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense.
Before joining HBS, Libba worked at a local firm, where she represented insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators in complex workers’ compensation claims. She conducted depositions, negotiated settlements, and provided clients with comprehensive case evaluations and risk analysis.
During law school, she served as a summer associate at a family law firm and also worked in the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office. There, she supported attorneys with juvenile court proceedings and assisted with trial preparation. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for her litigation skills and client-focused advocacy.
Libba earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude , from Mercer University School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. While in law school, she was a peer mentor, a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic, and a student member of the William A. Bootle American Inn of Court. She earned a B.B.A. in Economics with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia.
