About Mr. Johnny Clifford Waller, Jr.

When people asked Johnny Waller what he wanted to be when he grew up, his answer was always the same: “lawyer.” While most kids would say “astronaut” or “professional baseball player,” Johnny knew right from day one that he wanted to practice law and defend those in need. Today, Johnny is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. His current practice areas include traffic cases, criminal defense (misdemeanors and felonies), landlord-tenant cases, administrative hearings, and other types of civil litigation. He is most passionate about certain aspects of his work, with trial advocacy and motions practice at the top of that list. Johnny’s favorite form of relaxation is watching sports. He is a self-proclaimed fan of “all things Georgia,” so he naturally loves to watch the UGA Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, and the Atlanta Braves. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
