We first spoke with John Christy in March of 2022 and signed up with him in April after he met a group of us to discuss a zoning case against the state of Georgia. It was an issue that many attorneys wouldn't take on because it involved the state. Three and a half years later we settled with the state. We didn't win every aspect of it but it was a tough case of first impression. We relied on donations in order to pay John and his associate while the state relied upon unlimited tax payer funds and found it necessary to pit 17 attorneys against our two. Its very important that the state was humiliated by the decision the final judge filed, which was obvioulsy in our favor.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
