Betty Thompson is great if you have over a million dollars and are willing to spend hundreds of dollars an hour on legal fees. If you are an upper middle class person trying to protect only 100-200K, this is not the firm for you. You will end up spending more in legal fees than you will end up paying out to an undeserving ex. This firm is not for the typical person merely trying to defend
their inheritance/401k, while having the best representation. Their skills aren't targeted at those clients
I hired Betty Thompson to represent me in a very important child custody matter; she and her firm abandoned me shortly before trial despite the fact that I had invested approximately $10,000 in the firm's services. They moved to withdraw from the case, and when I opposed their motion due to their having nearly depleted my funds with only weeks to go before trial, they argued in open court that I was only interested in fighting with my ex-wife. In my opinion, this firm is NOT to be trusted.
