Bergstein was my legal representative, and initially, I believed him to be both an honest lawyer and a decent person. However, after paying him a sum exceeding $50,000, I uncovered that he billed me twice for the identical legal issue. His reaction? "I'm retired, and I extended a discount to you. Best of luck." I had anticipated a higher level of integrity and decency from someone whom I entrusted and paid to represent me during a challenging period in my life. It's evident that greed and ambition clouded his judgment.
Billed over 7k and accomplished nothing. Had to fire him as my attorney and just represented myself. Got everything I wanted representing myself. He let the other attorney bully him. For everything that happened through out the short time he represented me I feel he should be sued for malpractice.
