Una Campbell is an Albuquerque personal injury lawyer with a deep connection to New Mexico. She attended Monte Vista Elementary, Jefferson Middle School, and graduated from Highland High School in 1986. Una obtained her B.A. in Spanish, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico in 1992. During her college years, she studied in Morelia, Mexico, for a summer and spent a year at the Universidad De Granada in Spain.
Before pursuing a legal career, Una worked with her father at Una Gallery, a family business located in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in historic Navajo rugs, Pueblo textiles, and folk art. Her expertise in Navajo weaving was instilled in her by her father from a young age. During this time, she gained recognition as one of the "rising stars" in Arizona business and was featured on the cover of Today's Arizona Business Woman magazine.
In 2012, Una earned her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law. Throughout law school, she made significant contributions to the legal community and was awarded the Dean's Award for her involvement. Una was also selected as the student representative on the board of directors of the New Mexico Women's Bar Association and served as Vice President of Community Relations for the Women's Law Caucus. She volunteered as a mediator in the Bernalillo Metropolitan Court and mentored young women in the Program for the Empowerment of Girls, a program designed to assist teenage girls in the juvenile justice system.
Following law school, Una had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Judge M. Monica Zamora at the New Mexico Court of Appeals. Subsequently, she practiced as a civil defense lawyer, handling various cases including commercial litigation, personal injury, and product liability. However, Una discovered her true passion for representing individuals while working at Parnall Law.
