Hired Attorney Amelia Nelson

I hired Ms. Nelson to help me file a claim with the NM Human Rights Bureau. After the claim was filed, she charged me $1000 and took that from my retainer of $3000. The required paperwork that followed I did myself. After the case determination, I had to ask Ms. Nelson three times to close my account and return the balance of my retainer. She finally responded by keeping the rest of my money. She earned the first amount which was properly invoiced but then kept the rest without justification.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
