Mike and his sons are conscientious, thorough, and ethical. He's an effective litigator. He's not cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for.
Mr. Danoff is a big talker but is not so in the court room. He did not address the things we spoke of and was afraid to stand up for me when the other side was telling their lies to make me look bad. He was not prepared for court. He basically left me high and dry (the bank account). So, a year later I had to hire another attorney to do what he was paid and hired to do. It is my thoughts that he typically handles much bigger fish and so he did not have the time to take care of me.
It was frustrating working with Mr. D. Despite repeated requests, he would not communicate via email and it was difficult for us to reach each other by phone. Further, each time I called, even to leave a message, I had to explain my entire case to his secretary who never seemed to know who I am. I eventually engaged the services of another lawyer who promptly resolved the matter. I learned from the other lawyer that Mr. Danoff's legal advice did not thoroughly protect my financial interests.
