Jessica Hess is the best attorney we have ever worked with. She took our case when no one else would and she stuck it out through years of battling my husbands vindictive ex! She was able to get us the custody that we were told we would never get, and saved us thousands upon thousands of dollars in back support that was not owed, but being requested. I will concede that Jessica is ruthless, in defense of her clients that she believes in. She provided us not only quality legal representation, but she did so at a fee that was more than reasonable. I would and have recommended her to everyone who has asked me about our family law case. She is the best in ABQ.

All the negative reviews are true. Is there no accountability? Where are the teams that hold lawyers to a standard? I’m blown away that this woman is still employed. I could lose custody of my children because she filed motions late and doesn’t communicate. I’m hoping judges are smart enough to understand I didn’t have the same help as my ex.

Jessica treats her clients and others very ugly. She acts like she’s above everyone and treats them accordingly. She smiles in your face and turns around and says something offensive. It’s hard to tell if she’s begun acting like some of those she represents or is a con man herself! She’s not a good person.

Jessica Hess is a horrible lawyer. You will lose money and you will lose in court if you retain her. She took thousands of dollars from me on my divorce case . It took years and thousands later to get another lawyer to fix her mess. Please read the other reviews. They are true!

Jessica is not only a terrible lawyer, but an awful human being. As my case progressed, she became very rude and condescending for no reason. She's very unresponsive and bad at communicating in general. She would never answer her phone and would take days to respond, and would charge hundreds of dollars just to talk for 5 minutes. She very clearly doesn't care about her clients at all and views them as beneath her. She not only presented bad counter arguments in my petitions, but had typos in every single one. How does one pass law school with not just bad spelling but not even knowing what spell check is? Makes me think they give out participation awards in law school. Such an awful experience hiring her, wish I had read reviews first.

Jessica was such a terrible divorce lawyer and I’m still paying the price. She belittled me and was not going to represent me because of the emotional distress I was under from suffering from domestic violence. She led me to believe and sign divorce papers that were not in my favor and that I had to hire another lawyer to fix. I would not recommend this lawyer at all.

Jessica was the epitome of disorganization, lack of responsiveness, unprofessionalism. Like the other reviewer she took my retainer never accounted for it the entire time I was her client. She took days to respond and often did not respond at all, and then when she wasn't aware of issues, she was extremely rude and berating. Finally Jessica was ineffective as a lawyer as her lack of diligence in handling my case has made an already stressful time, extremely stressful.

Horrible attorney. Demanded a large retainer. No communication. Took my money and gave me no results. Should have read the other negative reviews about her.
