After a 3 year divorce, which ended in 2007, I have still NOT RECEIVED my Alimony. I owe them money and never got what I paid for. Not only that, but part of the alimony was for my ex husband - a Dentist - to pay our JOINT INCOME TAXES and as of now, that has NEVER BEEN DONE EITHER. He was late on EVERY SINGLE spousal support payment of $1500 a month, which caused me late fees, and disconnects on Electricity and other utilities, and was never held to task. The IRS still wants the taxes.
In my opinion. run away and don’t look back! Poor communicator, vague promises and very little follow through. It was exhausting trying to get her to do her job. We finally had to let her go and find someone else who could do the job.
She used my vulnerability and perceived wealth, acting as GAL, to charge me excessive fees. She was conniving, dictatorial, dishonest and clearly biased against me. She performed investigations behind my back in collusion with the other parent and the other parent's attorney as well as law enforcement. My attorney and I were left out of the loop in most investigations. Though not one accusation was ever founded, she refused to answer discovery questions honestly. Shame!
