The Proskin Law Firm is a law firm with an office in Albany, NY. At this office location, there are 5 lawyers practicing civil litigation, criminal law, state government law and 12 other areas of law.
Offered to draft an EEOc complaint in email. I accepted the offer because I had no luck with previous complaints. Didn’t hear from her (Nadia) in two months. Had to send multiple emails to get a response. She is never in her office and somehow on vacation or a cruise often. I tell her I’m worried about the statue running out on the EEOc complaint. She says she thought I already filed it. No, I’ve been waiting for the draft we agreed on. She says she never offered. I send copy of email that she did in fact offer to do so in writing. I agreed in an email. She still denies both claims after reading her own emails that I copy back to her. Then she says it’s not in her scope. Okay then why offer, take back the offer, say you never offered, deny it after reading it in your own emails, then say it’s “ not my job.” This made the clock run out on an EEOc complaint. Totally unprofessional, and to be honest just down right sneaky/dishonest. Also she takes two months to make a demand/counter offer
