David Craft joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna, LLP, in September of 2023 as a member of the Real Estate Practice Group, and has made a recent return in 2025. Before joining Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna, Craft worked as an associate attorney at Wallace Turner Law, LLP, representing individuals and entities in business law matters and real estate closings.
Representative Accomplishments
• Represented several Capital Region nonprofits in real estate transactions for properties acquired for community use.
• Counseled purchasers and sellers throughout all stages of residential real estate transactions and closings.
• Represented charter schools, daycare centers, and small business in commercial lease negotiations.
• Assisted nonprofits with entity formation and seeking recognition of federal tax-exemption status.
Affiliations
Craft is admitted to practice in New York State. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region and the Capital District Black and Hispanic Bar Association.
