A subsequent move to Rochester Hills, Michigan, set the stage for her legal education at Wayne State University Law School, where she earned a Juris Doctorate in 1995. She is married to George Jay Quist, a Kent County Circuit Court Judge. Together, they have a son, Jonathan Quist, a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University. Jonathan aspires to continue the family tradition by pursuing a law degree in Fall 2025. Courtney's dedication to her specialization in family law, coupled with her personal and professional experiences, renders her an insightful and empathetic advocate for her clients.
